People have ownership over what they write and only they can edit it Completely egalitarian -- students feel on the same level as instructor
Best for things that can be kept in chronological order - things that do not have to be in a directory style set up Best for creating a knowledgebase, set of documents. or directory
Lends itself well to reflective writing and dialogue Great for working in groups because everyone has equal editing rights
